His expertise includes salary management, incentive pay, executive compensation, pay surveys, performance management, and human resource and organizational effectiveness issues. Bill works as an advisor to senior management and board committees. He is a member of WorldatWork and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). He has spoken frequently to professional and technology groups. Bill was a founding Director and Corporate Secretary of Nittany Financial Corporation/Nittany Bank, State College. | Community Activities |
Bill is a past president of The Mount Nittany Conservancy; past chair of Penn State Hillel; and is President of Pennsylvania Centre Stage, and Vice Chair of the Centre County Community Foundation. He is a board member of the Knight Foundation's State College Community Advisory Board and the Penn State Renaissance Scholarship Fund. He is immediate past president of Penn State's College of Communications Alumni Society and co-chair of the All-Sports Museum Advisory Board. He has served on the Executive Board, National Capital Area Council, Boy Scouts of America; the Executive Board of the Penn State Alumni Association; and the Executive Committee of the UJA Federation of Washington. In 1996 he was named a Penn State Alumni Fellow and in 2000 was recognized as Volunteer of the Year by the Penn State Alumni Association. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| Teaching | He was an adjunct Associate Professor of Management in the School of Business and Public Management at The George Washington University from 1991 to 1995. Bill also has served as an Adjunct Lecturer in Management at Penn State. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
